Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Her father (who died in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5, 1998 from Minsk Belarus. Aryna is the holder of 12 WTA Singles titles. One of which was named 'Grand Slam' during the Australian Open 2023. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player she has two more Majors to this area, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, taking in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. This feat was only achieved by four couples in female doubles. On the 23rd August of 2021, she climbed to the second spot on the list of world singles rankings her highest ranking was again reached in January 2023. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021 She was able to move up the rankings to take the first spot on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until the season ended in 2019. She also worked with him for a short time before the year 2020 began. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for short periods between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach who has been with her since at the beginning of 2020. Her idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
